Re: Ratings and Test Sim Season's
Peoples often forgot that the difference between 70 in SC and 90 SC is only 28% mathematically speaking (When the formula is linearly). So if you want your 90 SC players to hit 50 goals in season, your 70 SC player will hit 36 goals in a season. In 2.1, I had to make the formula more exponential fo...

Re: Goalie Starts/Minutes Limits
I think "dehydration" is a better name for "fatigue" with regards to goalies in the STHS. On very busy nights goalies have been known to get dehydrated. Few goalies get fatigued to the point of being unable to play for X amounts of games after a normal game of hockey. I disagree...

I definitely would prefer this!Président ANHS wrote:Problem I see with keeping retired players in the unassigned list is that the list will keep getting longer and longer every year. Maybe having a separate page on which the list of retired players can go on instead of the unassigned list?

Re: Line enforcement for dressed players
It's a bit of monitoring to do, especially since "auto line" will something make pretty "Creative" line-ups, but then, that's why we have actual GMs running their teams and not rely solely on the simulator; So that GMs run their teams. That's why I made the suggestion that I did...

Re: Goalie Starts/Minutes Limits
Heh I didn't know this even existed. What exactly does it do? I ran it just for kicks and all it said was "Successful" though it didn't seem to really do anything.Foo wrote:Maybe I'm wrong but I think this command can help you : Check Goaler Time vs Team
I am on board with Kramden's suggestion.

That sounds wonderful. Thanks Simon!SimonT wrote:In 2.3.1, I add a new option call “Block Players from Playing in Lines #1, #2 and #3 (Normal)”. Re: Line enforcement for dressed players
I've run into the same type of problem in the past as Owen is expressing here. I think I may have even proposed in the past that the feature Owen mentions which bans players from featuring twice on the top two lines, should be extended to include all four lines at even strength. I have since realiz...

Re: Line enforcement for dressed players
Auto-Lines will use most of the players on the roster. If a player doesn't make it on 5vs5, it's normally end-up as first on the extra line. Yeah but if you use auto lines, the extra skater slots only get filled with the three best players that aren't included on the first or second lines. Using th...

Re: Line enforcement for dressed players
I explained it differently because you said you didn't understand it the first time. Clearly Kramden missed the point as well because the success of dressing a lineup "that way" is completely irrelevant. This is about ensuring that the minimum number of required skaters to be dressed are a...

Re: Line enforcement for dressed players
In theory, the Capitals could dress the following: L1: Ovechkin-Backstrom-Ward-Orpik-Carlsson L2: Johansson-Kuznetsov-Chimera-Alzner-Niskanen L3: Ovechkin-Backstrom-Ward-Orpik-Carlsson L4: Ovechkin-Backstrom-Ward-Orpik-Carlsson What about the other 8 skaters? If the simulator has an option to requir...

Re: Line enforcement for dressed players
Your suggestion doesn’t make sense to me. The simulator only requires that the lines be filled and that there are 10 different skaters on the top two lines. If your league is set that you must dress 18 skaters, shouldn't the simulator require you to use all 18? It doesn't. You only have to use 10 a...

Line enforcement for dressed players
Simon, I would like to have an option to enforce that dressed players be placed into the main lineup. Obviously this varies depending on league options for the number of skaters dressed. If a league is set to have 12 forwards and 6 defensemen dressed, this option would require GMs to use all 12 forw...

GMs can use the new client 2.29 or 2.3 even if the league is still using the 2.27 simulator, correct?
