There aren't too many goals if ratings are made in a way that is suitable for the engine.

One thing that could be a big time saver would be having the option of setting those options for all players in a csv-file rather than clicking through players one by one from inside the simulator.

I agree with this. When GMs use Auto Roster, the Sim will often put only 9 or 10 forwards on the roster in favor of defensemen with higher OV-ratings. A minimum setting of forwards would prevent that.

While waiting for the latest installment of the 2.1, I've been spending my time with the 2.0 to see if I can't finally befriend this beast. So a few seasons were ran and some odd things happened. I would agree with that too. From what I've seen in the 2.0.6 the top rated scorers can put up extremely impressive seasons (sometimes at unrealistic levels like the 260 goal 570 point seasons I mentioned above) while players rated 70 or below for SC are lucky to get 1 or 2 goals in a full season. I can confirm these findings as I have seen similar distribution in my tests.
