Just curious since we are having problems coming up with a complete waiver wive rule in our league without any loopholes.
I know about the 9 (or is it 10?) game mark for players being waiver eligible that is in the sim, but what does your league do in other instances?
Like what happens if a player that is normally waiver eligible in-season get sent down in pre-season? Do you still have waivers then?
What happens if a team put a player on their farm last year, the guy had a good NHL season, got a good rating as a result and they still don't want to bring him back up the following season for whatever reason (could be a lack of cap space)? Do you put him on waivers at some point?
Like what happens if the player that is normally waiver eligible is demoted after 3 games in the regular season?
Do you guys put a ''cap'' on the highest OV a player can be in order to be sent to the farm club?
I am looking forward to hearing what other leagues do, thanks.
