I asked for this same thing last year. Skating and fighting still makes absolutely no sense! Otherwise this would be a pretty decent ratings pack. It does seem that Joe has put a lot more effort into improving other areas, particularly with defensemen, so that's a plus.
What is wrong with the Skating ratings? They are taken in terms of who the best skaters are in terms of speed, balance, agility, acceleration, etc. We are given an algorithm and use a very reliable source for the skating ratings that actually ranks players on their overall skating abilities, it isn't like we pull these numbers from out of our ass lol.

Fighting and Penalty Shots will be finished probably within another 2 weeks or so. On vacation at the moment.
Thanks

Thank you very much! These are some of the best ratings I've ever seen. Thank you for all your hard work and please do not listen to people who complain. These are the type of people who have never done any hard work in their lives.

We have released a new ratings update to fix some errors especially in the checking department, Matt Martin for example was at 58 checking when it was suppose to be 99 checking. There were about 50 player updates or so in terms of checking ratings.

I just sent the email to SimonT with the updated package so it should be uploaded sometime today.

We are going to begin working on the PS and FG ratings here shortly and should have those done within the next 2 weeks!

It's rather hard to believe Joe Pavelski is a top-15 skater among forwards in the world when he's barely a top-10 skater of forwards on his own team.

Jeremy Langlois is one of the best skaters in the entire AHL - 62? It's the one thing he's actually good at. Players don't suck at skating just because they're in the minors.

Conor Sheary might be the fastest skater on the insanely-quick Penguins. His 74 rating is the same as Kings d-man/slug Rob Scuderi. At least it's better than the 51 Sheary got last year though.

Overall, the skating ratings are better than they were last year. However, yes, many of them do seem to lack research, especially for players whose primary asset is skating ability.

Hi Joe and TY for youre ratings!!

Question?

You said that - All players who have played 10 games in the AHL or NHL have been created!

So why Joe Vitale with only 1 game played in 2015-16 is in youre rating?

And if he ok to be created, how you rate Score Passe and def with only one game played?

Tanks!! :D

Vitale was injured the entire year he previously played in the NHL before and is a successful 4th line player in the past few seasons, same reason why James Wisniewski has a rating, its so people aren't penalized for a player being injured thus rendering him completely useless in the sim.

After last revisions, the Philip Grubauer and Damon Severson birthdates are still bad. Phil Di Giuseppe spelling is still bad too.

Bad position for Alexandre Grenier. He's RW but, the ratings put him as a D.

It seems like both Erik Karlsson's ratings are inverted.

Is this going to be done this season? Several people have asked about it and it's been almost two months since last update.
