The Early Expansion League, which imagines the NHL added four teams in 1954, has one opening as we prep for our third season (1956-57).
The available team is the Pittsburgh Hornets, one of the expansion teams. Ted Kennedy is the team's biggest "name" but the Hornets did finish with the second best record of the 4 new teams this past season (Brooklyn made it to the Cup Finals before falling to the Red Wings).
League moves fairly quickly - we do 7-day sims Monday thru Friday mornings.
Re-rates are based half on STHS and half on history so GMs will have the ability to affect their players' development while still retaining some historical influence.
Players enter the league at 18 - Bobby Hull will be in this next draft class and this team will be in the lottery and therefore has a chance at landing him.
