Serialization Error

I went to open the league file this morning and got a huge error message. It's seemingly corrupted for no reason - it saved fine yesterday, and hasn't been accessed by anyone else.

I doubt anything can be done to salvage it but any advice on how to prevent this in the future would be greatly appreciated. Using Simulator Verson 2.2.7

Any tips on how to prevent this?

It's happened to use quite a few times, usually every couple months. Lately we've been using Dropbox to share the league file between myself and the other simmer - would it be safer for us to zip the league file and share it through FTP?

The league file is already zip compress so I don't think it'll change anything.

I don’t specific idea of what method (DropBox, FTP, etC) is the best. In my view, it’s how the tool making transfers is reliable.
