New team in league has roster issues

Post by joejiz »

Hi,

There is a glitch in the client editor 3.1.1.5. www.coachab.com

The Vancouver Thousandaires (farm team) is not being allowed to have a 20 man roster.

The editor will not allow me to enter more than 17 skaters (18 skaters + 2 goalies is forbidden). Please see the screen shot.

This team was a brand new team added this year.

FYI - > The web client allows for 20 player roster to be saved.

I will email a screen shot of the client's error.

Hi,

Red Wings
Millionaires

They were added last season to the league.

This is when problem started. Pro team and Farm should be 20 players each...

These teams both required 20 players pro and 19 farm.. This is wrong, it has always been 20/20.

CURRENT WORK AROUND AS OF 2 HOURS AGO:

The commissioner set the farm team to ALLOW 21 PLAYERS so 20 players can exist and one can save LINES/ROSTER.

We will continue to try and explain to the best of our ability and send screenshots over next couple days. Thanks for your help.

Our work around was to change farm player count to 21 from 20. So it allows the season to begin for the two coaches who run other teams in league and do the exact same thing and don't get this error. It was very easy for us to take any other team, put 20 players in the farm, the client said roster is complete. Then do the identical thing with Red Wings and the roster complete would not work unless it was 19 players.

We have since changed the farm to allow for 21 players, thus the client "will finally allow lines to be saved" .... Without ability to save lines no one can play the game.

Thank you for looking into this. So sorry we are not explaining this properly.

Now I understand. Unless you activate the option "Full Farm for All Teams" or your GM manually enable the option "Full Farm" in the Team Windows of the STHS Client, you'll always have 1 "Unknown Players" taking one spot. I think that explain your issue.

Cool, I do notice the red wings and millionaires do not have full team check marked on the client.

we will set the simulator back to 20. then advise both red wings and millionaires to check mark the full farm setting.

this could be it....i 'll keep you posted.
