Does it matter if a forward plays out of position? Does he play worse?

I have a Centermen who is 99 FO, that I want to use as a LW but keep as a C incase of injuries so I can use him at C if needed.

If I leave him as a C, and use him on LW as well, will he play worse as a LW?

It depend if the "Forwards Play All Positions" option is checked or not. Check the manual for more information.
