Vista DLL registration error

Hey there

I have a guy wanting to join the game. Support files automatic did not work for him.

So I tried to help walk him through the manual procedure 1 step at a time.

He tells me he is stuck at registering "msstdfmt.dll" with this

"the module "msstdfmt.dll" was loaded but the call to dlregisterserver failed with error code 0x88002801c.
For more information about this problem, search online using the error code as a search term."

Online shows nothing for this code

yea, that's what I am using. I had to resort to that to try and get it to work.

He's having the problem right at registration of the file msstdfmt.dll

What operating system he's using?

Can you ask him to copy the msstdfmt.dll in the SAME directory that the STHSClient.exe or SimonTHockeySimulator.exe file.

Nevermind,

He had to run cmd.exe as administrator.
