Terrible Start to the Season, Need Help

Hey Guys so Im going to post my Lines in a second. I just want to get your feed back, I thought my team was well balanced. however it seems my team is having trouble filling the net, and defending. If you can offer suggestions that be awesome!

My Current lines are

Line 1: Ovechkin-Bergeron-Versteeg
Line 2. Duchene- Richards- Heatley
Line 3: Latendress- Schenn- Fiddler
Line 4: Ovechkin-Bergeron- Heatley

Line2: Seabrook- Klein

Any tips would be awesome and much appreciated. Also any strategies you might have.

just one tip needed, the same tip as in every other "cant win" and "help needed"...dont overuse your core players. Ovechkin around 24 minutes per game, Bergeron close to that. Shea Weber 28!!! minutes per game. Why do you burn out Ovechkin on PK? These players are exhausted midgame and so you are losing. Would play Richards and Schenn and then Fiddler and Dorsett on PK, so you get your scorers ready for even strength and PP. Also, dont double shift Ovechkin and Bergeron on 4th line, Play all your guys. The 4th line is there for giving your stars a rest, not more, not less. Its all about exhaustion that you are losing. If you fix that you will see that results will be better. From there you could finetune the other strategies.

Look at your lineups. I like to have one scoring line, 1 Physical line and 1 defensive line. I put the best scorers and passer together, then the best physical players and then as 3rd line the best defensive players. Set your lines then as offensive, physical and defensive strategies. If you dont have that type of players, dont worry, just adjust. Look at the line you built and then build a strategie on their strengths. If its not working, try another line combination. Its all about trial and error.
