I've started noticing that some older players begin to decline in terms of production even though their stats are high.

For example, a player who is rated in the top 5 of the league in PH, PA, SC and OV and has a history of 40 goal/80 pts seasons suddenly seems to hit a wall at 36/37/38 years old and is posting seasons of 20 goals/50 pts or less.

I realize bad seasons makes ratings decline faster for older players, but is there a system in the sim that makes players produce less if their age is high so that his ratings decline?

I always thought age was irrelevant to production.

We're using 2.0 engine.

Est-ce qu'il y a un effet relié à l'âge dans le simulateur? Plus le joueur vieillit, plus il aura de la difficulté à produire, même avec des excellentes cotes et un bon taux d'utilisation.
