Finance Expenses

Post by Kitsune »

I'm noticing in my test seasons that while a team has 68 million in salary expenses .. they are getting dinged at 95 or higher. The team farm salary expenses is 7150000 so I'm at a lost to explain this:

Can someone explain this additional salary expense?

Could you have change your salary cap option mid-season?

No, all I did was click full season, and there are no transactions either.

It impacts all teams every season

Season 1 -> http://glidingeagle.com/sthstest/test/y ... inance.php

Season 2 -> http://glidingeagle.com/sthstest/test/y ... inance.php

Season 3 -> .. overwrote it with a blank copy, whoops

Season 4-> http://glidingeagle.com/sthstest/test/y ... inance.php

Season 5-> Can't include due to a 3 url limit in a post.

How did you create your season? I just try a test with your league file, ran the "Reset League Off-Season" command, build a pro and farm schedule and ran a full season and the finance look fine for me.

hmm - that's interesting - I used a custom schedule created in excel - its perfectly balanced. It has 64 games across 108 days - the catch is all teams share the rest days . Is that somehow mucking things up? I can provide the csv's. I know some teams have long road trips and homestands of about 10-11 games in it too.

Send me an email with all you got and I'll try to reproduced it. A step by step of what you do is welcome. If I'm able to reproduced, I'm able to fix / answer the question.

Fix an issue where when you simulate multiple game in row or a full season, if you had rest day in your schedule, your players would get paid twice on that days and this would crease issue for your salary cap and year to date expenses value.

This explain this.
