Where can I find instructions on how to use Career Stats? I have several seasons I'd like to summarize, but not sure what files are required, or how to load them. If there a manual available?

I looked at that before, but I am in need of much more of a step-by-step help.

You simply load all the XML files you have one by one (Change XML Folder Losation & Open XML Files V2 each time) and after, you click Output

Well i have to say I am with him there needs to be a MUCH better Full instructions.
What XML file do we need ?
the one that is created in the output file called RSSFeed
Or the 633 that are created when the game finishes each season.

do we need to set those aside for each season. it looks like they are overwritten after each season.

Please can we get a DETAILED step by step way of doing this as I am 2 days into this version of the sim.

But I have searched very hard to find instructions


I placed the name of the file for my Goaler file in the output name area. set what folder it was in and just to see if it does anything I opened the file it said its not there and it also changed the name to Goaler-Player

so yes I really need help.

In the STHS, there is a folder call CSVXML. The files you'll find in this folder are the one required by CareerStat program.

Well I guess im Stupid. Cause I cant get anything to work. I have all the files
I have changed the XML V2 Folder Location to be at the folder Ive put a year in the box I have even put the name of the file im wanting outloaded in the "V2 Output File Name.
I have tryd to open files with the OPEN XML File V2

And I get nothing..
Im not tryn to be a pain but these intructions are Horrible at best
My take would be why is this not part of the program intself.

When you press the Open XML V2 button, you should get a popup information with some information. What do you see there?

V2 Player XML file not found. Looking for C:\Fantasy Hockey League Simulator\CSVXML\-Player.xml

This means CareerStat cannot find the *LeagueName*-Player.xml file in the folder you select it.

How do I change that or make it find the file.
Do I need to type in the file name in the V2 Output File Name. cause when I do that it tells me file output done BUT Where is it out put to ?

I cant find any files
The ProCareerStat file and the FarmCareerStat files are both empty

You need to fill the "V2 Output File Name" field with your file name before the dash.

I am just getting one season worth of stats now..

Do I enter this after each season ?

Yes. Each XML are for 1 regular season. If you want the playoff, it's another XML files.
