I can not figure out how to run a good PK unit. It's killing my team right now.

I tried the settings with 5 DF, did not work. Went to 1PHY-3DF-1OF, did not work either.

Obviously the DF stat is important for the players on the PK, is there another stat that really matters?

I find a good key to success on the PK is using forwards (with at least 70DF) that do not appear on on either unit of the PP and/or the first two even strength lines. I would also suggest at least 5 games before deciding something isn't working.

Interesting, I have been using 2 forwards who are on my PP and top 2 lines

The 2nd ranked team on the PK in our league has 4 forwards from lines 3 and 4 on their PK unit and they do not play PP minutes. So you may be onto something.

The 3rd ranked team has 1 guy from their top 2 lines on the PK and he does not play PP minutes.

Any other takes? My PK continues to be a disaster despite doing what Kramden23 suggested.

haha I have dedicated PKers and my PK is horrible this year! Normally not the case! hmmmm!

Depends on the leagues, but I found out on some settings that players with high checking and low DF seem to do the job on a 1-2-2 PK strategy....
