Can a 3 offensive lines model work and lead to wins?

Usually, the sim teams that have a lot success have a true defensive minded line as their 3rd line - or at least guys with high DF on it.

I am wondering if any of you can recall a team with a 3 offensive lines model having a lot of success in your league, especially if that 3rd line does not have great DF.

Of course. There are many ways to build a winning team.

Our sim league has more offensive forwards than defensive, so it's a necessity in the SHL. Some teams that have defensive players play them on the 2nd line, 3rd goes close to 0-0-5 strats.

What if the highest DF rating on the line is 75? Followed by 70 and then 66.

Another way to think about it (to go to Henry's multiple ways to win strategy) is that you don't have to have any of your forwards be defensive at all. At best, it's an augmentative stat for passing, at worst DF has zero impact on your success as a forward. If you do have a line like that, dependent on what their OVR is and other stats, my best recommendation would be still 0-0-5 for those forward lines with deficient defenders, or consolidate and make them a 3rd line scoring trio.

Well, so far it is working. My Raffl-E. Staal-Donskoi 3rd line is producing. I went with 3 DF and 2 OF.
