Hi,

I'm a new commish in my league and we are now in off-season mode.

I want to know how to process work for the contract.

How do I remove a year from every players contract ?

In League Option #2..I checked the box under Off Season...Remove 1 from Contract Length...but how do I know it applied ?

Because when i look in a player details, it seems it hasnt update...

I have done the same thing and all players in my league were removed one year from their contract. Works fine over here.

And when does it applied ?

When the off-seaon start.

I did the ''Reset League Off-Season'' command.

Does it means the off-season started ?

It seems in off-season mode, but when I check a player with the Edit Player, by exemple: Alexander Steen who had only 1 year left on his contract, its looks like he has 1 year left at 5.3M...as if nothing happened.

Should I do the Reset League Off-Season command again ?

When I Output the rosters, the contracts are all the sames...

In the manual...it says ''8.9 - Off-Season

STHS makes off-season options available once the regular season and playoffs have been completed and 'Begin Off-Season' has been selected.''


Where is that ?

The ''Reset League Off-Season'' command is not a normal command. It doesn't contract. Why did you run this command?

When you took over the league, was the "Remove 1 from Contract Length" option enabled? If yes, the contract already have been dropped by 1 year. If no, you can enable it and go in Mass Edition to remove 1 from every contract for a one shot deal.
