Ideas/suggestions to reduce the random nature of engine 2.0

Howdy,

I'd like to know what fellow commishes have done with their league's settings to help combat the randomness of the engine 2.0 and how effective it ended up being.

Our main beefs with 2.0 are that we have too many teams that end up in the 84-94 point range. The bad teams are not bad enough. Home records are nowhere near what they are in real life as there are too many road teams winning.

We ran bunch of tests on 2.1 and never found anything to our satisfaction (the usual issues with 2.1 were seen).
