Out Of Position Attribute Penalty

Good afternoon,

I am looking for ways to improve my team's special teams performance. My teammates had a thought - forwards can play D on the PP with little to no penalty, but could a defensemen theoretically skate up in the forward position on the PK and have very little to no out of position attribute penalty?

Any clarity would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Any players can play anywhere in PP and PK.

Simon:
When a defenseman plays as a forward (like C or LW, whatever), does he lose ability?

A defenseman just scored ten points in two games in my league playing as a Center.

Really?
Because that defenseman playing as a center scored a hat trick tonight and now is leading the league in points, having played three games less than the other players.

5 gols, 8 assists and 13 points in 3 games playing as a center.

What kind of ability should he lose?

He'll lost some stats all over the place. But I haver never code anything specific for DF playing C. He had been done in the NHL mostly playing Wing.
