On the Update Ratings screen, when deselecting Update Players, the Update Rookie Status and Retire Players Not Updated options are selectable. However, I don't believe they work even though you can click on the options. I just tested updating coaches only, with Retire Players Not Updated enabled and it didn't send all the players to retirement. So just a display issue.
