You create the list in notepad or word. Simply copy and paste them from nhl.com.

Just type your Player name with a comma between each others. Save it as a CSV file.

Does the draft list have to be just the players names?

or can it be a csv file with the players names and ratings

I would say just the players name.

ok then to enter the players as prospects, do i have to create them 1 at a time under edit players? or can i add the complete draft csv with all the ratings under "update stats"?

You are confusing 2 things. Prospect is only a name. A players is a name + all the stat.

i realize a prospect is just a name, but to activate a prospect the player has to be in the players list... so my question is can you load the draft csv with ratings all at once, or do the players have to be made one at a time?

If you are talking about an Entry Draft, the answer is no. It only load prospect so only name.

To have a player in the list, it have to be in the CSV file you use at the creation of the league or in the last CSV file you use running the "Update Stats and Coaches" option or to manually created the player.

I suspect that you are trying to start a new league and that you are looking is a Fantasy draft.

actually what i was meaning was about the entry draft

you create a csv file with the names of the players for the draft

then you draft them onto the teams prospect list

then when you go to activate them the player has to be in the "players' list to be able to activate them,

so do we have to create them one by one under edit players

or can we load a csv file with all the entry draft prospects and their ratings

thanks

1) Start a Entry Draft with the Prospect List
2) Do you Entry Draft normally.
3) Use the Auto Activate Prospect option.

Ok i realize that, maybe the language barrier is the problem here but will ask anyways

when you click on AUTO activate prospects the player has to be in the players list with ratings correct?

so my question all along has been how do you get them in the list? do you create them 1 at a time or can you load a csv database of all the prospects? and if you can load a csv file with all the prospects and their ratings how do you load the database?

hopefully you understand what im saying, wish i could speak french but i cant

thanks

to get your prospect players WITH there stats you need to create the prospects in a CSV file and you are going to load this CSV file
via the update players and coaches stats ( In League / Off Season )

so I suggest you output your current league in CSV format
add your prospects to this CSV and then re-load the new CSV
in the sim
