As you can see, the French manual is nicely going forward (Thank to LCH) and is almost finished. But sadly, the English manual didn't change at all. I got a few peoples who told they would send me a translation but I never received them.

Goal of this Post: If you understand French, the French manual is very good source of information for the STHS.

Comme vous pouvez voir, le manuel en Français avance très bien (Merci à LCH) et bientôt fini. Par contre, le manuel en Anglais n'a pas changé du tout. J'ai eu quelques personnes qui m'ont dit qu'il m'enverrait une traduction mais je n'ai jamais rien reçu.

J'ai la moitié du manuel francais traduit en anglais. Comme Simon m'a dit qu'il avait modifié quelques sections que j'avais déjà traduites, je dois relire ce que j'ai traduit pour voir si ca concorde, donc ca m'a ralenti un peu dans ma traduction.

Je devais avoir terminé cette semaine, mais j'ai eu quelques imprévus qui m'ont empêchés de pouvoir continuer mon travail. Cette semaine je vais avoir le temps de probablement en faire une bonne partie encore une fois pour continuer. La partie où je suis rendu est la plus longue à traduire (la description de tous les menus) donc une fois que je vais avoir passé cette section, ca ira beaucoup plus rapidement pour terminer.

Dans le PIRE DES PIRES scénarios, le manuel anglo devrait être complété d'ici la fin août, mais je vais fort probablement terminer avant ca.

Je tenais à vous en informer avant que quelqu'un d'autre se lance inutilement dans la traduction primaire du manuel. Je dois vous dire que pour traduire les 12 premières pages (le manuel fait 26 pages dans Word) ca m'a pris un bon 5 heures. Alors j'aurai besoin d'environs 8-10 heures pour compléter le tout.

Steph, envoie-moi des partie. Ça sera un bon début avant que tu perds tout si tu format ton PC.

Je vais au moins relire la partie que j'ai déjà traduite et voir les modifications que tu as faites à la partie franco que tu as retouchée pour que les deux concordent...

Si tu pouvais me donner la liste exacte des changements que tu as apportés à la version franco ca pourrait accélérer ma vérification. Aussitôt que j'aurai fait ca je pourrai t'envoyer ma partie déjà complété si tu veux.

Don't bother translating it because as I said in my first post, I have half of the french manual translated to English and will eventually finish it in the upcoming week or two.

I highly doubt that using a "mechanical" translator is a good idea before rewriting everything. Those translators don't "understand" the intricacies of wording a french sentence into english. Not that you didn't have a good idea, but I think that translating directly from french to english is the best way to go.

I already made one and send it to Simon yesterday, but he had already got one hand-made.

Correction, I got two but both of them were done using a online translation program. Sadly, this is not good enough for me.

Sections 1 through 8 of the french manual are translated. I'm about halfway done for section 9 which is the longest. Simon made some changes to sections 1 to 6 of the french manual which I have to check my translation for because I did it before Simon made the changes. Tomorrow I will be sending out sections 1 through 6 to Simon and I'll be going further in the rest of the manual so I can finish it as quickly as possible.

Thank to LCH, I was able to fill a small portion (12.3 - League -- Options) of the English Manual. Thank man!
