I am assuming that the rates here are the 2008 ones: http://www.acchleague.com/Output/ACCH-TeamRoster.html

Though i don't like to put down other people work i find some of the players that are rated are not realistic, Possibly in the formulas somehow.

I don't think any league should have players with a 99 rating on any skill other than experience or leadership.
To see young players with a 99SC or 99DF does not seem right, even if they lead the NHL in scoring.

And many other players seem to just have the same ratings. To many in my opinion.

Is the rating set complete or still being worked on ?

I don't know, I kind of liked the way the stats are done.

I think that if a young player leads the league in goals, he should definitely get a 99 in SC.

Of course, I object greatly to trying to "quantify" SK, PH, and DF stats; there are too many skaters in the league who are incredible skaters but don't register points (see Shean Donovan, Jamal Mayers et al.).

To a certain extent, the ST, EX, and LD ratings provide a good guideline but need some tweaking. Just because a player is only 20, it doesn't mean he can't produce in the clutch which is what EX is all about.

Nonetheless, the tables were very helpful for coming up with my own leagues ratings.
