SC vs goals

When I tried to adjust ratings, I had to many goals even with the goal slider at 1 so I did what seemed logic to me... I lowered SC(for all players)
Surprinsingly, It had the reverse effect, players scored even more.

What is happening exactly. I guess the sim calculate in some way that players are not good enough so it boost there scoring chance, but in my case it was boosted way too much.

How is it calculated (if it's really what is happening)?

Thanks there is some info, but my question is a bit different.

If I set every players at 1 SC, they will shot less... that's ok.
But they will score more, with a Shooting % over 90% for the best players.

For example with "normal ratings" a team can get 169 goals on 2573 shots
with everyone at 1 SC, 501 goals on 650 shots

So are you saying with 1 SC the goalie never expect the player to shoot then he's always beaten?

Then If I set only one player with 1 SC, he will not only shot rarely, he will also almost never score. Why is it different?

1) Don't look at the team GF stat because team gets credit 1 goal when they hit in overtime.
2) I figure a real game changer major bug. That one explains why most goals are getting score in 2nd period and 3th period. I’m totally speechless and depress about that one since it been alive since day #1 and nobody help me figure it out before today.

It don't. Version 2.0.5 with a update 2.1 engine will.
