Went with BRHL ratings cause 36Henry didn't want to share/provide :D

The SC PA are definitely shocking to my GMs lol, but everyone is the same :) If future versions can adjust the SC/PA to be not as shocking, that'd be welcomed by my GMs lol.

So far, I'm generally happy with how the ratings worked in pre-season. Our season started yesterday and I can't wait for the results at the quarter mark.

I've always believed 2.1 was the best simulator and just needed some time for Raters to figure it out. Having two guys that understand and pushing 2.1 is a very good thing. The key should be that GMs are able to ice line ups that can be adjusted for different scenarios/types of play/situations. Past few couple seasons on 2.1 now and personally I feel that especially in playoffs, you can read the output and make positive adjustments based on that.

I would like that Crosby, on a bad team, probably shouldn't be leading scorer of the league :)

Thanks and hope you guys keep figuring out the best ratings for the best sim version.

Excuse me? What are you talking about? Maybe you could/should have asked me to "share/provide"?

Yea I did, it's in the old thread in January you linked earlier
ynohtna wrote:Can I see your league ratings too? My test sim was somewhat ok but now people are getting super lines which score like crazy.

I've tried to adjust the ratings but ran out of time and got flack from my GMs for too much adjustments

I would like to see 2.1 work better

Hehe...

When I was trying the 2.1 engine, I didn't have one single game ending with less than 20 goals, for 5 seasons of testing. The sliders in the Options-area didn't make any difference. Someone complained about having 10+ 70 goal scorers. You should have seen my test results! :D

yeah I have made over 20 seasons of testings and the problem of 2.1 is no middle ground... all offense or all defense but almost impossible to have the middle. If you shut down the scoring you'll have goalies with .950 pct and wrost teams with a 15-55-12 record.

Yes it's true about the goalies but I'm happy with the overall results of the teams and league in general. Managed teams do better.

Some stats of my league thus far. Great for scoring, not so great about goaltending but at least it's even across the board so it's cancelled out pretty much. Lol ovie on his way to -35 just like NHL last year :) Hoping the ratings guys can find something to deal with change up goaltending!
