Hy all...

I've started a new sim-league... now... the first UFA's are signed... how you handle this by example...

UFA One signs a contract over 2 years worth 5.2 mio. total... singing-bonus 0.2 mio....

so the cap hit is 5.3 over two years... SB is paid immediatly... how can i now add this 0.1 Mio. SB per year that it won't be taken from the bankaccount in year 2?

thx for help

Hi.

You can play with the teams bonus value in the salary cap by "Modify the Salary Cap Special Value" in the Team Finance Windows. You must keep a way yourself to know what to enter there each year. (If you want to spread the signing bonus on 2 years or not, etc).

Thx... thats a little bit complicated if the player is involved in a trade...

what about the avarage salary? what is this for? is it possible to add the signing bonus to the 1st year salary in players profile... then run the calculate avarage salary, remove the signing bonus from year 1 and dont run the calculate avarage salary again... could that be used for cap hit?

that is the best way of doing it.

add the bonus to the year 1 salary

thx... just to be sure... if...

salary year 1 is 2.2 mio.
salary year 2 is 2.0 mio.

calculate avarage salary is run and 2.1 mio. --> does that mean, that 2.1 mio. count against the cap? or is it 2.2 in year 1 and 2.0 in year 2?

It's depend on your Salary Cap option if you pick year 1 salary or Salary Average option.

if you use Average salary for the cap hit,
the Cap hit for ALL seasons will be 2.1
but you gotta choose the option to use Average salary in cap hit
