Hi...

have a problem here... we used the "pro salary in farm" option so that the player with one-way-contract received the hole 100% salary in farm after he cleared waivers and plaied in farm...

we dont want to use the wade redden rule now... how can i solve the problem, that players with one-way-contract receive their 100% salary but dont count against the cap?

Before, were you using the "Farm Salary Include in Salary Cap" option?

The fix for your problem I think is the "Exclude from Payroll" option in the Edit Players windows.

yes... i think that would be the shortterm-fix for me...

if possible... it should have two check-boxes... one for "pro salary in farm" and one for "use wade-redden-rule"... so every commish can choose to have a league with oder without this new feature...

you think that would be possible in the 2.2.7 SIM?

If you were using "Farm Salary Include in Salary Cap", the "Wade Redden" rules doesn't change anything for you. It's simply a transfers a money from Farm to Pro Salary Cap but since you have the "Farm Salary Include in Salary Cap" option, both are number are used to calculate the real number. If you have 50$ Pro + 2$ Farm or 51$ Pro + 1$ Farm, it still is 52$.

yes... but i dont want to have the farm salary in my pro-cap... but i want to have players with one-way contract, who play in farm, that they get 100% of their money without being counted in pro-cap...

i'm not using "farm include in salary cap"

Malheureusement, ce n'est plus possible depuis la 2.2.6.

how does the wade-redden-rule count against the cap-hit in the sim...

does the salary-cap count 1 to 1 against pro cap or (if i'm not wrong) like this:

Money paid to players outside of the NHL counts against the cap.
A one-way contract counts against the cap as follows:
cap hit – [ minimum salary + $375,000 ]
Example: If Player A with cap hit $6.5M plays in the minors in 2013-14, he counts as follows.
$6.5M – [ $550,000 + $375,000 ] = $5.575M
A two-way contract counts as follows:
minor-league salary – [ minimum salary + $375,000 ]
Example: Player B’s two-way contract pays $3M/$1M in 2013-14 and counts as follows in the minors.
$1M – [ $550,000 + $375,000 ] = $75,000

It's 1 to 1.
