One of my GM is complaining that since the last trade he made, he have to do his lines everyday even if it click on copy all lines each time. The line editor give him a strange error :



The slot have a player but there's an error. If we go the previous window and came back the slot now appear empty.

For me I see two things, the strange behavior describe here and why some team (GM) have to made their lineup every single day (roster and lines are always reset).

The player trade was Lauri Korpikoski?

Korpikoski isn't listed in the roster on the left side of the screen.

No, he was not involved in the trade.

Right, everyday he have to put Korpikoski on pro and scratch a defenseman.

I found the error. The code places the players in the windows and THEN checks the Lines up for error. In you case, Lauri Korpikoski, was removed from the lines because he/she shouldn’t in be there. But since the code player in the windows before checking for error, he/she appear. If you move days and come back to the first day, he/she no longer there. I have fixed the error for next version.

Does that will fix the issue that the GM have to made everyday the same roster move because the players are moved automatically after simulation ?

If you search for Edmonton, you see Lauri Korpikoski is sent down everytime that Edmonton play [without been sent to waivers (according to league settings it should if was done by the GM)] => not true, he don't have play enough game. Sorry.

He try everything, Copy Lines, Copy All Lines, etc..

We got that problem since switching to V3 from V2 in the last offseason. We never have this problem the past year using the v2.

He's not sure. He'll do it for the today's game I'll post back the result.

I know I've already do it (Copy All Rosters) for his team (and others) but I can't remember when. Seems to be a recurring problem.

This subject can be close (about the client error described in the first post).

I'll open a new subject for the lines problem while it affect most of my gm.
