Players who play F and D, and Pro Game Roster Limits

Couldn't find examples of this in the forum...but for the Mark Pysyk's of the world that play both forward and defense...
If I have these settings for Pro Game Roster Limits...
Maximum Players: 18
Maximum Goalies: 2
Minimum Forwards: 11 (mins of 3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW)
Minimum Defensemen: 6
And a team wants to employ 12 forwards, 5 defensemen, and an RW/D like Pysyk for example...
Will the simulator recognize Pysyk's ability to play D and count that toward the 6-D minimum? Or will it count him as a forward first and deny this type of lines file since it doesn't contain the 6 needed D-men to meet the minimum?
Any help here is appreciated.
