Same number of games started but more wins and shutouts for Elliott which explains the small boost.

I would like to clarify, I'm not going to start explaining why each player's ratings are so low or so high.

If I'm going to answer 25-30 questions every year about ratings, I'll keep it to my personal use only.

Those who want these ratings just have to download them and enjoy.

When they are sent to the AHL for conditioning purposes, the stats are not included in the ratings. This avoids huge drops to players.

So at the end, Shesterkin's ratings include his AHL stats compared to Samsonov who only includes his NHL stats.

It's the same situation with Alex Nedelkovic. The kid had a great season last year, but he also played in the AHL in 2019... so that hurts their ratings a lot. (Even if he has good numbers in the AHL, I have a limit that I cannot exceed.)

Next year, if Shesterkin stays on top of his game at the NHL level, don't worry, he'll be a beast.

+/- 20 errors have been found (positions, date of birth & nationality) for the most part players playing in the AHL.

That's why I review each skater before the official release (we have over 1700 players this year).

Then, I will have to optimize for a week.

We are very careful about the results, every detail is calculated.

I expect to release the Showtime Ratings 2021-22 by June 1st.

Be patient, the wait is worth it.
