Dynamic website - mobile performance slow

I was wondering if there were ways to make the dynamic site perform better on phones. Just bringing up my team page, i would see it load initially, but then I can't scroll for about 5 seconds. Then I get an android not saying the browser is taking a long time to respond... and maybe 5-10 second after that it scrolls ok.

Some of my GMs complain they can't get it showing up on the mobile devices at all.

Can you try this page on your phone?

Anything that's a list are bad too.

It renders pretty fast, but it's not usable immediately. Try to browse around and it may move a few moments or be already locked up. Then I need to wait, see the android prompt that the browser stopped responding, then wait some more and then it's fine.

It is slow on my surface duo 2, approx 5 sec wait.
My galaxy note 10 is even slower
A new Pixel is having the same symptoms.

From my iPhone Se 2016, it load normally, I have no speed issue with Safari. What is the screen resolution of your phone?

well my work iphone x seems fine as well. I used Safari and Edge.... Well Edge is Safari based on iOS I guess.

There's something different in the chromium and safari renderers I suppose or maybe it's android... maybe it's the cpu (duo2 and pixel are really recent cpus though)

With regards to screen res, each phone will have it's own but it's not something we change on it. I'm not really understanding why it matters?

I have also tried with Firefox on my iPhone SE and I have no issue.

Screen resolution could matter. There is more data to be show in you have a large screen resolution.
