Question here for the following setting:
Complex Calculation Base on Salary Average : Fixed Value

It appears that the sim simply calculates the cap hit based on the average of the remainder of the contract, and not the entire contract in full. What that means is that frontloading a contract ultimately leads to cap savings, when it that should have no effect on the cap hit and only salary. Is the sim handling this correctly?

The average salary is calculated only once when the contrat is signed. It's the same thing that in the NHL. Frontloading a couple of year with a high salary doesn't change anything for the average.

And are we able to set what that average is by defining it on the player? Trying to start a league and match up NHL AAV and Salaries.
