Starting the thread now so it's not a mad dash to do it come September...

Any volunteer out there willing to save the full 2022-23 NHL schedule into a .csv or excel document so we can use it?

I have taken matters into my own hands after finding an excel that had the schedule listed and sent the schedule to SimonT with days 1 through 185 listed. Hopefully he puts in the download section.

Of note:

- The Sharks and Predators play 2 games in Europe on October 7th and 8th, a few days before everyone else starts their season. I put those 2 games on day 1 and day 2. This means 3 games in 3 nights for the Predators though, so you need to tweak the schedule if you want to avoid this.

- Aside from the 3 day Christmas break and the all-star break, there are 3 days in the real life NHL schedule (day 6 on Sunday October 16th, day 45 on Thursday November 24th for US Thanksgiving and day 179 Friday April 7th which is Easter Friday) with no games scheduled. I wrote in the .csv file that there is no game on that day, so if you do NOT want to add games, you will need to delete that. If you DO want to tweak your schedule and put games on that day, you will need to remove it as well.

It's in the download Section, under Rating2022 but I have edit the CSV so it's can import into the STHS without end-users having to edit it.

In the next 48hours, I'll be sending Simon an updated version of the NHL Schedual where Day 1 and 2 are the games in Prague between the Sharks and Predators, where Day 5 is the ''more official'' game day between TBL/NYR and VGK/LAK on OCT 11th, and where 12 teams matchup on OCT 12 (Day 6). That schedual will include national holidays, days off, and Xmas break, as originaly posted by Marc The Habs Fan (Thank You Pal !!!). Basicaly, it's the same calendar +4 days throughout.

Our league follows the day to day activities of the NHL, and as such, we're doing simulation year round following the NHL reg. season. sched.

An updated version of the Schedule originaly sent by Marc The Habs Fan (Thank you Marc!!) has been posted, sent to SimonT (thank you), and is now available is the downloaded section under ''2022 2023 NHL Schedule Authentic'' (.csv).

The difference is:

• Day 1 = Octobre 7th [SJS @ NSH (in Prague)], 1st Regular Season game of the year
  Day 2 = October 8th [NSH @ SJS (in Prague)]
  Day 5 = October 11th, regular games (same as Marc's version)
  Day 6 = October 12th, 12 teams in action (same as Marc's version)
  Team names have been shortened to, say, just ''Blues'' instead of ''St. Louis Blues'' in order to fit our leagues Team Names Vs City Names
  Rest of calendar follows NHL regular season calendar
  All holidays have been kept intact, true to actual NHL calendar

Juste vous dire qu'il y a une petite erreur dans le fichier, rien de grave mais je voulais vous le dire.

Il y aura une erreur pour le jour 142, Washington joue 2 fois.

Cette ligne va donc au jour 143 et non 142:

143,Washington Capitals,Buffalo Sabres

Sinon Washington joue 2 fois le même jour.

En effet, je viens de constater ce matin également le même problème. De plus, il semble y avoir une seconde erreur. Probablement un team joue-t-il 42 home game au lieu de 41, mais je n'ai pas encore trouvé lequel.

Je renvois la version ''avec Day 143 - Washington Capitals @ Buffalo Sabres'' à SimonT.

Final update: Line 1 was missing ''Day - Visitor - Home'' leading to a message including ''all 32 teams must play same number of games''. FIXED.

I will also includean AHL calendar, one which mirrors their NHL affiliates Calendar, but it doesn't neceseraly have the ''official'' teams of the AHL.
Your league will want to adjust clubs for: BUF, TBL, NYI, NSH, VAN, NJD and CGY as they are not, per se, the Calgary Wranglers or the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (or Islanders nowadays). They're ''funky'' to say the least. But in this version, if it's SJS vs NSH, then their Farm Club are facing up just the same, throughout the entire season.

Most recent version of the 2022 2023 NHL Schedule Authentic file has been updated to fix any issues with any team. Schedule is now running and official.

La version la plus récente du fichier 2022 2023 NHL Schedule Authentic a été mise à jour pour régler tout problème potentiel. L'horaire est désormais officiel et fonctionnal.
