hey guys, I need your opinion for something.
Would you guys be able to recommend the best ratings out there using the STHS Simulator.
Please answer the following questions

Who makes these ratings?
Where can I find them?
Have they been used in a league?
Are there mistakes in these ratings?

Once you answer these questions I would like to know when the recent 2009-2010 Ratings come out from this specific recommended ratings

I would like to give you a good answer, but I think there is no good answer to those questions.

if there is 10 sets of ratings out, you will have 10 guys telling you there ratings are better.

Ratings are ratings ..no one judges ratings the same way, so it really comes down to
what ratings do you prefer ?
what ratings are best for your league.

I prefer the Simhl ratings. they work great for my league
they are available with other ratings sets in the download section.
I have been using the simhl ratings for 3 years now

Hi,

I did ratings based on DVHL formulas for both players and goalies. If you want those ratings, contact me by e-mail ([email protected]) and I'll send you the formulas used by the DVHL. You will see if you want to use those ratings.

wasn't there something about if leagues submit their ratings, simon will provide the best normalized settings for those ratings?

Is that posted somewhere?

The recommend rating are in the Credit TXT file inside the Rating zip file in the download section.

I downloaded the aug 31, 2010 ratings and I don't see recommended settings for NAIHL ratings in the credits text?

Am I missing it somewhere?

Does that mean you won't be doing them then?

Send me an email with the name of the rating file and I'll put it in my to do list.

But you can actually do it yourself also with the Automatic Test Command, see section 10 of the manual.

Yea I saw that last night, although after chatting with naihl guy, even he is going to just adjust during the season.
