How many sim tests did you do with the same rosters? Did the players remain close to the same values? I would love to know as it might be that the sim is only set up more for NHL style rosters.

I agree. It seems you need to have a guy with at least 70's in PA,SC and DF stat if the offense D man is to work. Having a high DF (80's) but in the lower in the 60's PA and SC doesn't seems to work well at all. PH doesn't seem to help that much. It is a shame really as I know many good Off D paired...

Foo, I did two test season with Tony Maltby stats on the Racers increased to the 90's range. The Racers either came 1st and then 2nd overall in the conference. Maltby stats however where much like the other goalies. Not better but upper middle. I find that strange as he is a ton better than everyone...

I have been testing a few more things. I used my setup of all teams being the same and removing all the extra's that could add randomness. Then I made one team "Aryan Racers" have each member's stats increased by 10%. So now they are by far the best team in the league. It isn't often you w...

Then your luck system is all screwed! What other reason can the same player with the same skills be a -28 while on another team he has +21? What is forcing the guy with -28 to continually play like crap while the +21 continually play well?? If it was down to just plain luck then the laws of average...

OK time for a new test. This test removes any user inputted randomness. What I did was make a 20 players roster and then copied that same roster 16 times. the thing to me is that I have not have had the sim for 6 months. ;) Many people are now completing their first season with version 2 and seeing that the engine does not work like it does in version 1. It gives such random results that it seems it doesn't matter how you build your team that the sim ...

Sadly I had hoped to work on the creator more this week but I have been able to. So I am going to release it ..... but keep in mind it is not finished and still very much in BETA! Simon you are welcome to set it up in your links but PLEASE add that it is still in beta mode. I have more to add to it....

I think good teams should have a chance not to make the playoff as well but it should be based of how a GM runs the team not how the sim runs as it does currently. If all the extra random things are removed such as coaches, injuries, Morale, lines changing, suspensions etc are removed then it should...
