In a long lasting fictional league, where players could eventually have their number retired, it means more. For a lot of the fly by night NHL based leagues using the portal, maybe it means less.

Does LD and EX only factor into the sim engine when MO is turned on?

If MO is turned off does this mean LD and EX are not used in the sim engine and basically pointless? I heard from another commish that this was the case and I would like to verify it.

I disagree. Unknown players are stupid and unrealistic and should not exist. It gives the farm level zero credibility as a stand alone league. The software should double and triple shift real players when it has to fill holes, not insert an unknown player. What I was saying was that even when every ...

Only problem with that is when a team is in violation due to injury or whatever, the software prevents me from simulating the games that day until the problem is fixed. I don't want to have to go into every violating team manually and correct their lines so I can simulate the games that day.

I really like this idea, just not sure how it's possible on the simulation end of things. If I sim my games and upload the results, it's kind of all or nothing isn't it? Are you just talking about teasing them with a report every few minutes until they can actually view the entire game result?
