I still get an out of date client error

Client error, windows 10. I am running STHS-V2-2-3-4, We are currently between seasons.
I was producing output files to update the league website when I realized my simulator is not producing the client .stc file.
I am sure its just a setting that has been adjusted but please help

I do not want the farm players being sent to the pro team either,
I would like to lock the rosters down at the trade deadline or start of the playoffs, no up or down movement.

So as we sit now there is no reasonable way to lock the Rosters, so that players cannot be moved after the trade deadline?
Would it be reasonable to add this feature, would enough commissioners require/use it?

To use that I would have to modify every player at the trade deadline correct?
That would be very time consuming

I was hoping to lock all player moves between farm and pro teams, all teams carry enough extra players to accommodate injuries.
I guess locking moves the one way is at least a start

We would like to lock any Player moves between the Pro and Farm teams at the trade deadline. Is it possible to perform this, and if so how? Its the portal that adds a year to the players age every season.
Is there a way to turn that off, and use the sim age?
