Re: XFHL 2 Looking for GMs

Just an update...as we have shuffled through the off season in preparation for the league reset, we've replaced a few inactive GMs and we are now down to a single open spot. If interested, please email the above and join one of the most fin leagues I have been a part of!

Cheers,

-Rob

XFHL 2 Looking for GMs

Hi all, After 15 successful seasons in the XFHL, including 3 with STHS, the league's Board of Directors have decided it is time to make a radical change! This off season, which is starting now, the XFHL is going to reset the league and start fresh under the XFHL 2 banner. We are a sim based league. ...

XFHL looking for 2 replacement GMs.

http://xfhl.fivehole.net/ The XFHL is in its 15th year of operation and 3rd with the STHS. It is a sim based league (not based on NHL stats) that does not break for the off season. We are currently looking for two active GMs who like participating, writing articles for their team and having a good t...

Re: XFHL Needs you!

We have filled the positions of Chicago and Pittsburgh but now are in need of a special GM to take over the helm of the Ducks. After 13 seasons, the Anaheim Ducks have amassed 7 top record in opposite conference of the Pres winner and 1 President's Cup...which was this past year. To top it off, they...

XFHL Needs you!

The XFHL is winding up its 13th season and 1st season using the STHS. it is a sim based league (does NOT rerate based on NHL performance) that does not take the same downtime that the NHL does in the off season and is one of the best participating leagues I have been in for a while. We base our draf...

1.1 - Off season coach rerate

When I use the rerate function for players, it works successfully, but when I try for coaches, I get the following error: 340 - Control Array Element '8' doesn't exist in cmdReratePlayers

I get that, but I was looking for the whole schedule, so if I were reading the xml file I could pull the date game 1 was played (or any game) even if we are on game 200 (presumably a different date).

Date in schedule

Is there a way to possibly have a date field for the date when the set of games were simmed (in the XML file schedule)?

Does XML allow for an empty tag? When I did a quick check to see if putting 0 in would fix, Firefox accepted it.

At any rate, thanks :)

1.0.2 - Players.xml gives Not Well Formed error in Firefox

players.xml is giving a XML Parsing Error: not well-formed error when viewed in Firefox. It seems it does not like the whitespace left between the <injury> and </injury> tags for non-injured players. IE displays it (and XSLT can properly use it in IE). When I view the xml file in IE it seems to remo...

I was trying to avoid using asp or php. Was just doing some client side Java, but I think I have a way around it anyhow.

Thanks.

Well, my league's 64-bit Vista user unregistered msstdfmt.dll, deleted any found instances, put it in the system32 folder, re registered it and he is up and running.

So 64-bit Vista will work with the client (at least so far, we start pre-season in a week).
