Hey,
I am new here; wow, great site guys!
I have a team made up of guys mostly in their early 20s. Tons of talent, but am I doomed to fail because of a lack of EX?
Alex Ovechkin(A) - Sidney Crosby(C) - Andrei Kostitsyn
Christopher Higgins(A) - Evgeni Malkin - Nikolai Zherdev
Phil Kessel - R.J. Umberger - Glen Murray
Ryane Clowe - Sergei Kostitsyn - Donald Brashear
Nick Tarnasky
Lubomir Visnovsky - Marek Malik
Erik Johnson - Joni Pitkanen
Trevor Daley - Randy Jones
Cam Ward
Also, with that same roster I have the potential for 1 great line....
Alex Ovechkin(A) - Sidney Crosby(C) - Evgeni Malkin
Christopher Higgins(A) - R.J. Umberger - Nikolai Zherdev
Andrei Kostitsyn - Phil Kessel - Glen Murray
Ryane Clowe - Sergei Kostitsyn - Donald Brashear
Do you think I'd be better served to play Sid, Alex and Gino together or spread 'em out?
Thanks!

Is it NHL or Sim Rerates? And how many have a (R) next to there name? One thing I have noticed through 7 seasons is that rookies tend to have some kind of disadvantage in there first season - in other words, they wont play according to there ratings, and half the time tend to rerate down after one season, so you might be in some trouble that way.

It's NHL rerates and as far as I know there is nothing that denotes rookies.Kitsune wrote:Is it NHL or Sim Rerates? And how many have a (R) next to there name? Well then I think you should be fine, EX may hurt a little but it does not play that big of a factor.

I found that EX is very important. Each winner in our league had an experienced team.
