For Player Ratings, how are they calculated? I don't an exact formula as I'm sure it's quite complex but just an explanation. I heard it's the average of the past two NHL seasons?
Also, do stats from playoffs affect the Player Ratings?

People who make ratings each have their own formulas to calculate the attributes. So for example SC, one person might base them solely on goals scored while another creator might factor in shooting percentage. As for the average of 2 seasons, again some might do this while others only base their ratings on 1 previous season.
