Re: Coaches
GM can hire coach from the STHS Client if they have a valid contract. Sadly, GM cannot offer them contract from the STHS Client because someone, the commish, would need to approve it and in that case, the commish simply hire the coach for the team instead. Alright, thanks for explaining that. I can...

STHS Client not saving properly?
Hi, One of the managers my league seems to have a problem saving his teams .shl file. He can load the client file no problem, but it just doesn't seem to want to save for him. When he tries to save, he doesn't get the confirmation popup and can't find the file anywhere in his documents or in the cli...

Coaches
Do I need to go through every coach and come up with a contract for them all to allow manager to hire them, or is there a work around for this? For coaches with 0 years and 0 salary, you cannot hire them because it says they have an invalid contract. I would assume the manager would be able to negot...

Only 7 teams can claim waivers?
On the waivers output page, and the waivers page in the STHS file, only 7 teams are available to claim players. Waiver Order 2. - Los Angeles Kings 4. - San Jose Sharks 6. - Anaheim Ducks 10. - Calgary Flames 17. - Vancouver Canucks 18. - Edmonton Oilers 22. - Arizona Coyotes Is this a bug or did I ...

Looks like I'm stuck with it then. Thanks though.Kramden23 wrote:You'd probably have to purchase a new license and specify to Simon what name you wanted to appear. Or possibly write a PHP script that would change the name on the pages when ran.

So I'm attempting at running an NHL sim league at my hockey forum. If you are interested, please register here (http://thehockeynation.ca) and claim your team in this thread: http://thehockeynation.ca/showthread.php?tid=5641

Thanks.

Changing the name at the bottom of input pages?
Is there a way to change the name at the bottom of all input pages or remove them all? I want to use this for a forum of mine, but I'd prefer to not have my name there and remain "anonymous" in a way.

Re: Assign Players to team with csv
I figured it out. It's because the csv I made for the rosters includes players not in the rating files used.
I have another question though (I know I ask a lot of questions ) what does the number 1381 represent?

Assign Players to team with csv
I made a CSV file for every NHL team, it includes their NHL and AHL players. When I try to use this file to assign players, I get a message saying 231 players on 1381 were not assigned to team!
Any idea why?

Any tips for making a rating file?
I am really interested in making a rating file, I was thinking of a way to "port" (for lack of a better word) the ratings in Franchise Hockey Manager to STHS. But that was proving to be a very... long process. I'd really appreciate some tips on making a ratings file. This is for players an...
