What report are you referring to?
I asked about the report and its the "GoalerProStat file in a Database Browser. Using the CCHL.db I believe"

And we are looking at the total number of starts.

Another question for SimonT

I am in a league set up to give goalies under 25yo a boost in EN based on the number of games played. It looks something like this . Pro Starts: Farm Starts: 50 GS = +1 EN 58 GS = +2 EN 58 GS = +2 EN 66 GS = +3 EN 66 GS = +3 EN If a farm goalie gets 45 farm starts and 10 Pro starts? When we pull the...

Re: Back Again with a EN question

Sorry that chart will not hold its format. Startring EN base number was 76EN Season one rerate 77 (+1) he played 18:19 so 76en with 18:19 played = +1EN Season one rerate 74 (-4) he played 18:02 so 77en with 18:02 played = -4EN Season one rerate 70 (-4) he played 18:56 so 74en with 18:56 played = -4E...

Back Again with a EN question

With what we learned we now know that EN is based off of TIO and not games. And this is done off of league averages. I am confused on this players development. Nick Robertson 76E base 77 +1 18:19 76-> 18:19 = +1 74 -4 18:02 77 -> 18:02 = -4 70 -4 18:56 74 -> 18:56 = -4 69 -1 17:82 70 -> 17:82 = -1 A...

Re: SimonT - Lets Talk about Goalies?

Hi. 1) The answer is morale! 2) That a simulation engine secret, sorry. 3) Some goaler are better to intercept "puck-dump" that other. For example, Carey Price was very good in that while other are less. Thanks for always taking the time to answer the best you can without giving me to muc...

SimonT - Lets Talk about Goalies?

I have a few quick goalie questions. 1. Is there any kind of momentum game to game? I understand how moral works, but it there something else? Kind of a hot or cold hand to puts them on a streak? Or is every game done separately and not connected at all? 2. Is there some kind of in game fatigue for ...

Newest Question for SimonT

One thing I learned from my questions over time is high DI will slow down the number of hits a high CK player will give. And the same high CK with lower DI will produce a lot more hits. Does this system work with DF and SC? Will a player with high DF scoring be slowed down from playing DF? And the l...

Re: A New Question for SimonT

Sorry if I was not clear. This was about hits given. The guys with lower DI always seem to have more hits given. Even when the two guys are close with CK.

92CK 60DI 239 hits
90CK 85DI 154 hits

A New Question for SimonT

Does DI come into play on the volume of hits a player has?

A lot of times you will see two guys like this.

92CK 60DI 239 hits
90CK 85DI 154 hits

This is very common in my leagues.

Is there anything other then the CK that will play into hit volume?

A New Question for SimonT about the Manual

SimonT, I was reading this in the manual. "When a player has the puck, he needs to make a decision of what to do with it. There are 3 results possible: skate, pass or shot. It doesn’t matter if the player skills are at 50 or 99 for this formula. The player’s skills are compared between each oth...

Re: The Value of Hits and PIM

I would assume this depends on the engine, but... We use 1.5 and I found that having at least one winger have a strong CK on each line (as suggested by Peeps in another post) increases both shots on goal and goals scored significantly (presumably due to creating more turnovers). Ideally, you'll get...

You should have never changed your format. You were Metallica and you sold out to be like all the others.

Still I hope for the best in the new format.

The Value of Hits and PIM

I love the rebuild and when I take over a team I am always behind on the over all talent level. So I tend to go with guys that have high DI and a lot of them came with low CK. My thinking is if I stay out of the box I can shorten the game a little. Less time on the ice at a clear talent disadvantage...

I am always willing to talk about 1.5. Shot me your questions or thoughts on 1.5 and will respond.

I'm not sure to understand your question. What I can said is that for goalie, some of the stat are harder to rerate.
SimonT,

I was just trying to see what I can do to stop guys from taking a -5AG hit while having good seasons.

Thanks
