STAR1, STAR2, STAR3 missing from db
Hi! I have a weird small problem in our league. Our custom website pulls the three stars of a game from the db to display them in todays games. However the fields "STAR1" etc. aren't there in the db table. They're not empty, they are completely missing. The weird thing is, I have a test ve...

Re: UFA bidding
Follow up question: is there a way of importing signings from the website to the sim via a DB import (like with trades)?

3.2.2 - Small bug "Please Wait"
Just a very small bug. When I load STHS using a batch file like this: c:\UHL\STHS\SimonTHockeySimulator-V3.exe c:\UHL\STHS\UHL38.sth Everything works perfect, but the little "Please Wait" window that shows up while the file is loading, doesn't get deleted automatically, I have to do it man...

Re: Historical data questions
Thank you, Simon, a mass retiring feature in mass edit would help a lot! I have one more question - I hope it's okay to ask these questions in this thread: When after a season the stats are written to the career file, does it also correctly save stats for a player the was traded mid season, so it sh...

Re: Historical data questions
Thanks. Another question, that may sound a bit weird: can I add a player as a retired player or do I have to add the player and then manually retire them. The reason: lots of former players (our league was founded in 1997) have historical stats, but were simply erased from STHS after they retired. B...

Re: UFA bidding
It kept a history of all bids in a mSQL db, just in case the highest bid turned out invaldid for some reason. GMs only saw the highest bid IIRC. A perfect page for me would be like this: a list of all highest bids and the bidding team with a counter counting down from x hours to zero, the counter be...

Re: UFA bidding
Right now we still use a variation of the old 3rd party portal. I guess the UFA page we use was coded by the former commissioner. I guess I will try to recreate this once we made the switch to the dynamic website.

Re: Historical data questions
Thanks Simon! Really appreciate your responsiveness! Follow up question regarding 2). Not sure if you understood what I meant: I mean the records as in "Most Goals by a team in a single game" etc.I don't think those come from the Career SQLite database... I was wondering when those records...

Historical data questions
Hi! I am currently moving our league to the dynamic website and have to „rebuild“ some of the historical data we’ve had into the new setting. I have a few questions. 1. can you confirm, the "Career Stat" module reads only the players.xml and the goalers.xml? 2. where do the team and league...

Career Stat probem
Hi! Since we plan to make the move from the old portal based website to the new dynamic website, I am toying around with the "Career Stat" feature. For most seasons, the import works fine, however a few seasons just wont show up in the resulting career db file. Here's what I do: in the Car...

Re: UFA bidding
Sorry, I missed the question at the end. In our league, UFAs are basically signed in an open bidding process. All GMs can see all the offers, so they know who they are bidding against and what bid the have to make to beat the others. In the end, the player signs once no new bid came in for 48 hours....

UFA bidding
Just checking out the dynamic website that comes with STHS. Before I spend too much time trying to find this: is there a place on the website where I can see the UFA offers made? Both for GMs (to see other teams offers) and the commissioner. If not: are the bids stored somewhere in the SQLite databa...

UHL (est. 1997) looking for GMs
The Ultimate Hockey League has two GM openings! We are a STHS-based 28 team league, use the 2.1 engine (said to be the best) and our own real life performance based ratings. Founded in 1997 we may be one of the oldest sim based leagues around! What we offer: * friendly, international community with ...

Re: Error when changing Player ID
No. We use a variant of the old web portal, andretiesd players have IDs of 50000+.
