UHL, est. 1995, has openings

[Ultimate Hockey League]

The Ultimate Hockey League, which started in 1995, is now entering it's 28th simulation season and has five openings.

Our pitch: our league has very strong leadership with a strong history of balanced teams and stability. We run two simulated seasons per calendar year, with two sets of games during the active time of play (one set in the morning and one in the afternoon, Eastern Time, during the week, with weekends only having one set per day). Teams have unique team names but uses NHL players. Generally follow NHL rules although the exceptions are generally clear and have logic behind them that we can explain if you have questions. League is about to enter the off-season and we will follow the NHL draft with our own, which is seven rounds. We run STHS (otherwise we wouldn't post here, would we?) and use the portal for the UFA bidding.

There are no true "dogs" and no dominant franchises (i.e. the ones that have Corey Perry for $1 million a year for the next 5 years and playing on the third line because they gamed the league.) In last year's draft only two teams qualified as "missed the playoffs both years."

Strong core with still several GMs from that first season but without the "clique" feeling. We take pride in a friendly but active community.
