I just tried the latest version of STHS (V 2.1.5) and changed my league options to use version 2.1 . I've noticed that the scores were much higher than using the 2.0 engine. I then decided to download the latest NHL League File, figuring these rating would be optimized for version 2.1 and I could then use these rating as a gauge to see how I would need to modify my own league's ratings. Unfortunately, the latest NHL file (using the defaults) doesn't seem to be good for version 2.1.* either (games of 15 goals scored per game seemed to be the norm).
Has anyone figured out a general rule of thumb for modifying their ratings to work with version 2.1.* ? I would really like to have the ability to lower power play percentages using the slider that is only available for ver 2.1.
