depend on the settings of the league.

To my knowledge, it has no effect what so ever on the end of year rerates, but it does if the «Change Stats Active» option is On and at what rate.

If you don't have a league that uses that option it's useless since the rerates are done with performance at the end of te year. If your league uses this option (i use that option in farm only, so young players can progress) you are better off plaing your young players with potential with a good farm veteran.

For instance, i won my playoffs in the farm.

The way my first line were in the farm for example was Nicklas Backstrom (he was a created prospect so not more than 59 ov but with great potential), Niko Kapanen and finally Eric Fehr. The marginal veteran players for Pro like Kapanen is a good player for the farm so it helped progress Backstrom up to 62 overall in the season, with the rerate, he's up to 65 i think.

So, conclusion, it depends on the options.

Im just new to this sim but what would happen if you had a goalie that seen his better PO behind him but puts up soild numbers would he still go down and would that be the same if he had great numbers. Also about how much do rating go down if you do have a older player that doesnt put up great numbers but still good numbers.I talking about sim rerates not nhl rerates.

Im talking about a player like broduer which is older has no more PO if he puts up great numbers will he still go down because PO and if he has a poor season about how much can you expect a older player go down compared to a younger one.

If a player has great number (Top 10 for example) and no PO, he'll still go up.

I cannot really answer your second question without giving you a exact mathematic formula who a STHS secret.
