NAIHL 2008-09 Ratings

Just a thought, but maybe you can consider rating offensive abilities (PA and SC) of defenseman the same way you rate forwards, not seperately. It doesn't really seem to make sense why a forward who scored 32 goals gets a SC of 78, while a dman who scored 23 goals gets a SC of 91. Especially considering (correct me if I'm wrong) that I believe Simon has stated that Forwads and Dmen offensive abilities are NOT treated differently in the sim engine.NAIHLStars wrote:Also expect the d-men offensive ratings to be toned down compared to the prior year.

Re: NAIHL 2008-09 Ratings
Are there going to be a set out for 2009-10?
And if so, when is the expected release date?
Thanks.

I read somewhere that they are treated differently. I think we need simon to answer that one.

Are you talking about overall? You can decided your own overall formula in V2. As for the skills themselves, it's roughly the same usage that in V1.jwr38 wrote:I read somewhere that they are treated differently. I think we need simon to answer that one.

Is this still on track for a July 15th release or could it be even sooner?

Skater ratings are done and being reviewed by the Board. Working on goalies now. We should beat the July 15th release date.Marc the Habs Fan wrote:Is this still on track for a July 15th release or could it be even sooner?

A V2 release will be out by July 5th. If there are enough requests for a V1 release, I could do a V1 too.ynohtna wrote:stupid question I think but i'll ask it anyways, these ratings are for V2? (I gotta upgrade my league!)
