pour ceux qui veulent un site web pour leur ligue, qui utilise le STHS v1 ou v2, voici ce que j'offre

- Nom de domaine : http://www.VOTRENOMLIGUE.simnhl.com
- Espace illimité
- Installation/configuration des pages web
- Installation/configuration de la base de donnée
- Photo et images des équipes de la NHL
- Support (courriel et msn)
- Ajout de nouveau features régulièrement
- Prise de sauvegarde toutes les semaines

J'ai déjà plus de 20 ligues inscrites

What's the initial cost?, what do league owners have access too, do they get access to the control panel, FTP, phpmyadmin?..and other stuff?

You can't modify the website or have access to source. But you can use all section of the website. I correct all problem/error myself (if you find one)

So if I wanted to add forums or a standalone chat room I would have to go through you to do it??

The forum is a link to your forum (you can create a free forum)

Its so funny how, the SIMHL one is a modified portal. And now, the STHS v2 portal looks exactly the same with the same features. I wonder how expensive your site is. If it is worth to get?

The simnhl is not cheap. It is a modified version of the Original Web portal.

Reason i did not go this route was:
A: Cost, Wanted too much.
B: I already owned my domain name and pay hosting, but i would have to do all this from his service. So any control i would have to my site would be given to him.
C: Again as he had control, there was nothing from stopping him from shutting down our league sites. (Though i would expect there must be a contract signed between the 2 parties to prevent this).
D: Plus i did not feel like paying the simnhl for a modified version of the Web Portal. I am not even sure he is paying anything to the original creator as royalties for using and modifing his product.

If you want to modify the website, this is not for you. I offer the service for everyone who don't know PHP and Database. Everything is hosted on the same server, it's easier for me to upgrade or add new features and make backup of database.

It costs more for a modified version of a portal with no power at all.

Weird, I once offered web space on my hosting service with installation of the portal, and my message was rappidly deleted by Simon because he does not want us to sell things on his forum. Why is this thread still going on ?
