Cannot Start STHS2 since 2011

I just got back from my New Years Vacation and tried to start the sim but it won't load. The little "loading" window flashes up for a split second, then nothing. I've tried rebooting a couple of times...

Nothing should have changed. My computer has been off since I last simmed games in 2010. I'm thinking maybe there's a problem with the new year? Just a guess...

I set my computer's date back to Dec 2010 and it worked. Definitely seems like a problem with 2011 and STHS2.

Important Note: In the version 0.9.*, I had code that block the STHS and STHS Client from running passed year 2010. I forgot to remove that code from version 2.0.0 and 2.0.1. This mean you’ll be unable to run version 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 starting January 1st 2011. So please update to version 2.0.2 as soon as possible!

I don't know for sure...but this sounds like your problem. Try updating your Software and Client.
