Hi,
I recently caught on that a number of the GMs in my league are able to set their ticket prices at $999 per ticket and still sell anywhere from 40% - 75% capacity. Perhaps a little 'unlikely'?
You'll see an example here:
http://www.jaykashman.net/NSHL/Season10 ... 0-103.html
The prices & projections are here:

Thanks!
Jay

Re: Version 2.0.3.3 - Ticket Prices
I think what happened is that at first, they had it set @ the normal prices.. and then change it to 999 later in the season. This would explain why there percentages are so high in the team page, but only 40% in the box score. The 40% is likely what you have the season tickets set at, which is guaranteed attendance.

Right but I don't think at $999 a ticket a team should be selling to high capacities (if any seats) in a given section.

Re: Version 2.0.3.3 - Ticket Prices
In looking a little further into it (and apologies if I'm wrong)..
It seems as though 'Other Income' is a % of the gate revenue (we believe around 5%).
Perhaps this shouldn't be a % of the income. If you think about it, a team charging $100 a ticket v. $10 a ticket won't go from $5 concessions or whatever to $0.50 per person. This number should likely be a solid factor per team across the board. Let's say $5 per person through the gate (example).
(TOTAL TICKET INCOME: Ticket Price x Fans Coming In) + (OTHER REVENUE: Fans Coming In x 5) = TOTAL INCOME
I'm not too sure how to work out the fact that anyone will spend $999 or even $500 on a ticket though.. :S

This is exactly why I suggested specific ideas in my other post "Arenas, Tickets Defaults" under the "Suggestion" forum, but no one has replied to it yet.

Re: Version 2.0.3.3 - Ticket Prices
The issue we've found (even though I was off on Other Revenue) is that you're better off selling tickets for outrageous amounts ($400 - $500 per) and fill to 40% capacity than you are at 'reasonable' rates and fill to 100% capacity.
Perhaps there should be some kind of internal 'will not pay' amount that each seating level has which fans just won't pay?
