Date of Birth

Post by laving »

(Maybe this is answered somewhere else, but I couldn't find anything.)

I have som questions about the Date of Birth.

Is there somewhere an option to use the old age, and not the date of birth?
In future players databases, will all the players date of birth be updated?
How do I set my options so the new age calculation (date of birth), will work as close as the old type?

If I want every players age to be added by 1 at the same time, how do I set my options?

I now there is an option called "Use date instead of Now for age calculation". What exactly does this option do?

It’s not possible to use the old age. You must the date of birth. A way around is to use the same day/month for all players and only change the years.

Okay. Can I edit the birth date with mass edition, or du I have to change every 1500 players birth date?

I guess the best way would be to output a CSV of your league players,
change the DOB of all the players and then reload the CSV into the STHS

CSV...

I guess I use Excel to edit a CSV... But my Excel knowledge is not the best. Do I still have to edit player by player, or can I change all at the same time?

You cannot make that modification with Mass Edition.

With Excel, you can change all players at the same time. (After you did your CSV, you need to do a rating pack to import your data back in the STHS)

Okay.

Is there someone that can help me with this? I give you the csv-file, and get it back edited?

No, not really. I simply don't understand what to do.

I asked because I guess there are people that have done this before, and knows the easiest way to do it.

But I'll try.
